Eyemed
We accept Eyemed for routine eye care, glasses, and contacts.
There are many Eyemed plans available for you or your employer to select, and each has different benefits. Please let us know when you schedule your appointment if you have Eyemed so that we may verify your eligibility and benefits prior to your appointment.
Eyemed Benefits
Eyemed provides great benefits and savings for our patients, but does not cover 100% of expenses. Some plans provide a discount on your exam and glasses while others provide benefits after copays. You may have individual copays for each service and optical product. If you wear glasses, you can purchase any frame in our optical including any type of lens and lens enhancement. Eyemed will contribute towards glasses OR contacts, but not both. We will always work with you to maximize your savings. Once you have taken advantage of all your Eyemed benefits, additional discounts are available on your 2nd or 3rd pairs of glasses.
Medical Eye Services
Should you have any problems that require medical eye care, including diabetes, glaucoma, dry eye disease, eye infections, eye injuries, etc., we are required to bill your medical insurance first. In some instances, you may still have Eyemed benefits that can help cover out-of-pocket expenses such as copays or deductibles. As a service to our patients, we are happy to bill your insurance and coordinate benefits on your behalf. Regardless of the reason for your visit, you can always use any Eyemed benefits or discount for glasses or contacts.
